I’ve spent my career helping organizations navigate through change as a communicator, organizational development practitioner, culture advocate and change lead. I help you manage the human elements of change to minimize the noise that can distract your colleagues and slow progress. I work with you to ensure those most impacted by organizational change – your colleagues – understand the what, the why and “what’s in it for me,” so your change sticks long term.
At Cadbury Schweppes, I led communication and change on a number of transformational initiatives including restructures and downsizings, acquisitions and mergers, divestitures, efficiency drives, systems changes and corporate cultural shifts in Canada and across the Americas. I helped Bentall, at the time Canada’s largest real estate investment firm, transform its culture to one based on corporate responsibility, and led communication on its first major restructure in 100 years. In 2008 I established Pivot, a communication consultancy focused on change integration and cultural revolution. My clients include Mars Inc, Canon, D+H, Blue Ant Media, Loblaw and the University Health Network, along with a number of emerging organizations doing their part to make our world a better place to work. I’m also a proud member of the Change with Confidence collective, where I lead change communication initiatives.
I hold a BA in political science and history from the University of Windsor, an MA in political science from Wilfrid Laurier University, and a diploma in adult education from the University of Toronto – OISE.
