Change on the Run – Audiobook excerpt

We designed the print and e-book versions of Change on the Run for quick knowledge access and fast application. Most change challenges are time-bound where speed matters. The reader needs to get advice and apply it to their situation in minutes. The audiobook format does the same while providing more context and rationale for my 80/20 actions that give 80 percent of the results in 20 percent of the time.
I added stories for each topic of a real change situation I experienced to illustrate my advice. Even with these additions, the chapters are five minutes long, so I didn’t sacrifice learning and application speed. Another enhancement to the audiobook version is the intensity of the emotions I convey. Change is emotional, and I was keen to share my feelings during my experiences and to empathize with those of the reader—I have been in their shoes.
